Unknown. He is confirmed as lake captain while here, most certainly of a fishing boat, however the name(s) are unknown. While he is confirmed to have been a lake captain for 35 years – beginning in 1904 at age 26 – for all those years only two boats are confirmed: the fishing boat Liberty from 1911-13 (whereafter he sold it to Bay View lake captain William Braeger) and the fishing boat Key West in 1919. Both are before he came to Bay View in 1929-30.
