Antique of the Month - An Early 20th Century Miniature Grandfather’s Clock

This month’s Antique of the Month from the Historic Johanna Brotch House is a miniature Grandfather’s clock of the early 20th century. A little over two feet tall and six inches wide, it used to be fully operational. However, when I purchased it, the moving and working parts had all been removed. Still, it is carved wood, has a hand-painted clock face and surrounds, so it’s quite beautiful. The main door opens (where the working parts used to be, like the pendulum) and it has a brass handle with brass hinges. This is an unusual antique, but a quite a nice one. I hope you enjoy the photos!
