This month’s Antique of the Month from the Historic Johanna Brotch House is two rowing seats that were once on racing boats of the private colleges Oxford and Henley in England. These plates are c. 1920 but other than that I do not know much about them. Below is a painting by John Terres (Public Domain) from 1822 showing two racing boats of the day for some perspective.
