Antique of the Month - A 19th Century Maritime Spyglass from either Norway or Denmark

This month’s Antique of the Month from the Historic Johanna Brotch House is I hope you enjoy the photos! It features its original (125-150 years old) stitched leather hand-hold. There is only a “single-draw” to it, which isn’t unusual. The “draw” was pulled out of the main element in order to increase the view magnification. At one point there was also an eyepiece cover though that is no longer there. The end-pieces are both solid brass. A real nice spyglass in good condition for its age. I hope you enjoy the photos!
